Changing your diet is not easy. Unhealthy food habits don’t happen overnight, and you aren’t likely to break bad habits overnight. One helpful strategy is to make small changes, repeatedly, when and where you can. You can usually substitute foods that are high in calories with low-cal alternatives if you do a little foodie research. One of my favorite substitutions is to take pasta and replace it with healthy, delicious spaghetti squash. GLUTEN FREE

I’m excited to try this! You see, I don’t actually like pasta *peers about nervously lest she be attacked by bands of roaming grains* but I like a lot of the things that go ON pasta. This will let me munch on those pasta toppings without eating pasta that I don’t really like and that isn’t particularly good for me.
